do you know, are these concerts going to feature the remixed 'astral weeks' album or are they general concerts?

I believe they are going to be 'Astral Weeks' shows.

hmm... last night's setlist doesn't give me much confidence that they will be. i wish this was more clear.

I can't see how they will be. Usually there's some notice put up on the official website saying that due to popular demand there will be more Astral Weeks shows or whatever, but this time there wasn't.

yeah i'm pretty doubtful. i did however e-mail live nation and they think they'll be astral weeks shows based on the official event info which is: vent Info
Van Morrison, performing "Astral Weeks" and his classic hits!" on the live nation website. it certainly could be some miscommunication between the promoter and van morrison's people though.

oh well, i'll settle for hearing half of veedon fleece?!

We've got tickets to the first show in DC. Looking forward to it, and am hopeful for a Astral Weeks set. But I'll enjoy whatever he has in mind.

I saw Van in Bristol and it was amazing - even without Astral Weeks. I've booked to fly to DC from the UK with the confirmation from Live Nation and Ticketmaster that DC will be an Astral Weeks tour...Let's pray! I missed the other AW shows so this one HAS to be it!

I pray that DC is an Astral Weeks show. I missed LA for my 40th - AW has been the soundtrack to my life. I have a very strong feeling that DC will be AW but I'll settle for "And the Healing has begun" and "in the garden" - as well as WAY more Veedon Fleece!! Everyone pray that he does Linden Arden and Bulbs. Rave on all Van Fans xxx

A question off this subject...does there exist a DVD of "A Night in San Francisco". I saw a short outtake on Bravo from that concert and cna't find any reference to it anywhere. I think it's the best live he's done.

Just received my DC tickets in the mail today, and they read: "Van Morrison Presents Astral Weeks 2009"

Hopefully that settles it.
