Van On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon
Late Night With Jimmy Fallon had Van as musical guest for debut show. Van performed Sweet Thing. When song was over Fallon came over with Justin Timberlake & Robert DeNiro - Van hugged Deniro and then left.

Van's performance of "Sweet Thing" was much better sound-wise on the Fallon program than the Regis show. His voice was further up in the mix, and the performance itself seemed more relaxed. Regis's show, which airs live in the morning, seemed a little stilted.
However, at least Van got in some talk with Regis between songs. Regis asked a lot about Robert DeNiro being on the Fallon set the night before, and Van told him Bobby D is coming to his show at the Beacon. He also imitated one of DeNiro's gangster movie quotes. It was quite a light mood for Van. After that, he did a rather pedestrian "Brown Eyed Girl" to end the show.
